Raspberry and red currant aromas are warmed by a touch of toasted oak. On the palate these fresh berry notes bring a bright feel to this smooth and approachable style, melding seamlessly with soft tannin on the close.
100% Chambourcin, hand-harvested October 2015. The fruit was fermented on the skins in open-top fermenters with twice-daily punchdowns. Aged 17 months in seasoned oak. Bottled April 2017, 324 cases.
